Drone Launch Academy, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) welcomes you to our services, including online courses, the Drone Launch Connect (DLC) private community, and other products or services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of our Services.

1 – General Terms

Ownership and Intellectual Property

All materials provided through our Services, including but not limited to course content, videos, written materials, and community content, are the exclusive property of Drone Launch Academy, LLC, and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce, redistribute, or use any content without our express written permission.

User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Use the Services for lawful purposes.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of their account.

Restrictions

Sharing login details is prohibited. Each account is intended for a single user.

Users may not copy, download, or distribute content without authorization.

2 – Online Courses

Platform and Access

Our online courses are hosted on the Teachable platform. By accessing our courses, you also agree to Teachable’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Purchase Terms and Refunds

  • Part 107 Prep Course: Refunds are provided if users complete 100% of the course, pass the practice exam with an 80% or higher, and fail the FAA exam within seven days of their testing date. Qualified refunds include $175 reimbursement for testing center fees.
  • Other Courses: All direct-to-consumer courses are eligible for a 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • Refunds for purchases through Teachable are subject to Teachable’s policies in addition to our refund terms.

Liability Disclaimer

Drone Launch Academy is not responsible for technical issues, outages, or data breaches originating from Teachable. For platform-related support, users may need to refer to Teachable’s support resources.

Access Duration

Users who purchase individual courses are granted lifetime access, provided Drone Launch Academy remains operational and subject to Teachable’s platform availability.

Intellectual Property

All course content is the property of Drone Launch Academy and may not be redistributed or used for commercial or any other purposes without permission.

3 – Drone Launch Connect (DLC)

Membership Terms

DLC memberships are billed monthly, quarterly, or annually, depending on the user’s choice. Memberships can be canceled at any time.

Upon cancellation, users retain access until the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds are provided for unused time.

Community Guidelines

Members must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • No harassment, offensive language, spam, or unauthorized promotion.
  • Respect the privacy of other members.

Violations may result in immediate removal from DLC and cancellation of the subscription without refund.

Third-Party Terms

DLC is hosted on Circle, and members are subject to Circle’s Terms of Use.

Liability Disclaimer

Drone Launch Academy is not responsible for disputes between members, loss of data, or platform outages.

4 – Educational Institutions

Services provided to educational institutions are governed by separate terms. Please refer to the Terms of Use applicable to our purchase, included with your quote or invoice.

5 – Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Arbitration

All disputes arising from these Terms or our Services will be resolved through binding arbitration in Polk County, Florida, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

6 – Termination of Access

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to any Service for violations of these Terms.

  • Users will receive notice of termination.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be issued at our discretion.

7 – Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Drone Launch Academy is not liable for:

  • Errors or omissions in content or information provided.
  • Damages resulting from use of the Services, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
  • Any third-party platform or service failure, including Teachable or Circle.

Users agree to indemnify Drone Launch Academy from any claims arising out of their use of the Services.

8 – Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Users are responsible for reviewing the effective date to ensure continued compliance.
