With everything that’s going on right now with the coronavirus, you’re probably spending most—if not all—of your time at home.
Chances are, you’re probably getting pretty bored.
We know it’s not fun to be stuck at home 24/7, but all we can do is make the most of this strange situation.
That’s why we’ve made a list of our 3 favorite cheap drones (they’re all under $100) that you can order on Amazon. We know you can’t go out and about, but you could at least use these cool drones to practice your flying skills and have some fun in your backyard.
We review all three of them and give a demo of each in the video below…
Our 3 favorite drones under $100 are:
-
Hubsan X4
-
Syma X5C
-
Ryze Tech Tello (Powered by DJI)
1. Hubsan X4 H107L (Amazon: $25.99 + free shipping)
The Hubsan X4 is an affordable drone to start out with. Although it is does not have a camera and is the smallest of the three drones on our list, this drone is a low-risk investment (since it’s only $25.99) to practice your flying skills with.
If you decide to go with this drone, you’ll get:
- The option to operate it indoors and outdoors
- 7-minute flight time
- 30-minute charging time
- USB charger
- The ability to perform aerial flips and rolls
- Built-in LED lights
2. Syma X5C (Amazon: $33.99 + free shipping)
The Syma X5C is another affordable drone option to try out if you want to get the hang of flying before you decide to purchase a more expensive drone. The X5C is a step above the Hubsan X4 in that it has a camera. But, the camera isn’t the best, so the quality of your photos would not be great. That being said, it is a good choice of drone to learn how to fly and take aerial photos with.
Some of its features include:
- An HD camera
- Blade protectors
- 7 minutes of flying time
- 100-minute charging time
- A controller with an LCD Displayer
3. Ryze Tech Tello – Powered by DJI (Amazon: $99.00 + free shipping)
The Tello is by far the most high-quality drone on our list. Its camera will allow you to take impressive photos from the air and it has some cool features. With higher quality features, however, comes a higher price point. But, if you’re willing to splurge a little, the Tello is definitely worth it.
With the Tello, you’ll get:
- 5 MP photos
- DJI Flight Tech
- The option to download the Tello app
- Controller capability
- Automatic take-off and landing
- Propeller protection
- Collision detection
- 13-minute flight time
- Intel processor
- The ability to connect with a VR headset
